Join UCFTR's "Getting Started: The A to Z of Proposing a DeCal" information workshop on Tuesday, April 12, 1 - 2 PM at the Chávez Student Center and kickstart your DeCal Proposal Process!This information workshop covers important deadlines, requirements, and policies for undergraduates interested in starting a student-initiated 98/198 course.

Want to propose a DeCal but not sure how to get started? If so, join UCFTR's "Getting Started: The A to Z of Starting a DeCal" information workshop on Monday, Feburary 28, 4 - 5 pm! This information workshop covers important deadlines, requirements, and policies for undergraduates interested in starting a student-initiated 98/198 course.
Build your leadership skills and deepen your connection to the Cal community by creating a Democratic Education at Cal (DeCal) course! Through the DeCal program, Cal students just like you propose and facilitate unit-bearing courses on topics they are passionate about, while adding over 300 classes to Cal's curriculum each year.
The SLC Undergraduate Course Facilitator Training & Resources program is seeking enthusiastic highly motivated student leaders who are committed to the vision of Democratic Education at Cal and fellow student facilitators. As a Peer Coordinator, you will provide campus-mandated training for first-time facilitators as well as consultation services for ongoing DeCal facilitators.
If you are interested in this position and you possess prior DeCal or group facilitation experience, we encourage you to apply to become a UCFTR Peer Coordinator!
