This month, we honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of Filipino Americans to our learning communities at the SLC, to the UC Berkeley campus, and to the nation at large. Congress officially recognized October as Filipino American History Month in the United States in 2009, though it has been celebrated in the US since 1992.
